Hey ! Want To Become Rich..

August 2, 2008

There is no real get rich quick scheme. Certainly every so often, someone does win the lottery, but the chances that would be you are so slim - you can’t even plan on it. However, you can do some things where you can plan to gain money from them.
1. Start now; start young! The sooner you start saving, the quicker you get to your dream. Well, not quite, but still the sooner you start to accumulate wealth the longer the race is for the turtle. Thus, more time does equal more money.
2. Pay off your debt, particularly credit card debt. Borrowed money is wasting your time and your income. The interest rates charged to you for debt is pure waste. Pay it off as quickly as possible and don’t ever borrow again.
3. Max out your opportunity for tax breaks. Put as much money away in deferred tax accounts as possible.
4. Max out your matching funds. If your employer offers you a match of retirement funds, make sure you aren’t throwing this money away. Also, set aside the amount they match as your bare minimum.
5. Have an emergency fund, ideally six months of expenses. One of the quickest ways to ruin years of hard work is to have an emergency. If you aren’t prepared for a problem, you might lose your nest egg during recovery.
6. Stick with the safer investments. Index mutual funds tend to be the best. Playing the stock market is a bit like playing the lottery. Sinking your money in secure market investments is the better long-term money making strategy.

The Secret Life Of Trolls

August 1, 2008

If you have a blog, or any sort of internet presence at all, you’ve probably encountered trolls. The vast majority of people leave friendly comments, while some disagree in a dinner-table kind of way. But a few will leave stinging grade-school remarks. I know I’ve often cleaned out my comment filter (I have certain expletives blocked) wondering what makes these people tick.

The NYTimes has an article interviewing admitting trolls, from the guy behind the Craig’s List scam to really disturbing characters.

Jason Fortuny might be the closest thing this movement of anonymous provocateurs has to a spokesman. Thirty-two years old, he works “typical Clark Kent I.T.” freelance jobs — Web design, programming — but his passion is trolling, “pushing peoples’ buttons.” Fortuny frames his acts of trolling as “experiments,” sociological inquiries into human behavior. In the fall of 2006, he posted a hoax ad on Craigslist, posing as a woman seeking a “str8 brutal dom muscular male.” More than 100 men responded. Fortuny posted their names, pictures, e-mail and phone numbers to his blog, dubbing the exposé “the Craigslist Experiment.” This made Fortuny the most prominent Internet villain in America until November 2007, when his fame was eclipsed by the Megan Meier MySpace suicide. Meier, a 13-year-old Missouri girl, hanged herself with a belt after receiving cruel messages from a boy she’d been flirting with on MySpace. The boy was not a real boy, investigators say, but the fictional creation of Lori Drew, the mother of one of Megan’s former friends. Drew later said she hoped to find out whether Megan was gossiping about her daughter. The story — respectable suburban wife uses Internet to torment teenage girl — was a media sensation.

100 Top Female Blogger

July 28, 2008

Welcome to the First Official Top 100 Female Blogger List. I had previously created the Top 50 Female Blogger list which soon grew to a 100. This list is updated as of July 7th 2008. It is one of the first lists dedicated only to female bloggers showcasing their contribution to the blogging world.

I find it a bit odd that the “official top female blogger list” doesn’t seem to be ranked by Google PR or Technocrati or Digg or votes, or any particular criteria. So take it as it is, a collection of female writers, mommybloggers and blog grrls.

Paid to Click gig

July 21, 2008

I have joined paid to click programs last May and since then, I have earned cell phone load from a local company and a few dollars from the others. I just need to click a link and view an advertiser’s website for 30 seconds.

This might not be worth it to do for some but since I spend a lot of time online this is an extra for me. It will take a few months before I can request for payout but still, it will be nice to receive a check in the mail or the earnings be sent to my paypal account.

Some websites offer .01c to .02c per click. If one can refer other users, there is .01c given for every click of the referral. I think the others earn easily through referrals. I have tried this too and so far, some of my friends have tried it as well while the others simply can’t find the time.

I will continue to do this until I reach the payout amount and will wait for feedback for other ptc sites that are tried and tested. This way I can be sure that even if it takes me a long time to earn, I’ll be sure to get it in the future.

Morachat

July 18, 2008

I am just new to Morachat and ths was just refered to me by one friend on MyLot. According to him Morachat is just like MyLot were I can earn by just responding, commenting and posting to someone elses discussion or I will make a new discussion. I tried the site and I found lots of interesting topics in there. There are lots of things I can learn from it. From the simplest to the most complicated things. Though the site wasn’t that populated like MyLot and the responses were not the same and as numerous as the first forum site, this site allows you to see all your earnings instantly. You may even earn from it without getting bored cause you will really find yourself enjoying the site. Most people there were helpful and does willing to share all thier knowledge to everyone. I was still far from the payout but I really don’t mind it cause what’s important is that I am happy from what I am doing there and I’m enjoying it.

Earning on Posting

July 15, 2008

I have joined Mylot for just a couple of months ago and I was just posting to that site for just some time. I only post and respond for just an average of five discussions a day or even fewer. I only joined the site cause it was referred to me by a friend. She told me that I can learn lots of things in that site. Truly I did. I even ignored the opportunity that Mylot does pays also to the members. MAybe I was in that notion due to the experiences I have on some PTC sites. So just two days ago I was really surprsed to know that I had been paid by mylot. Although it was not a big amount of money it was something I could really treasure cause that came unexpected and I even don’t realize that I already made that far. It was really a good site to be with.
