Yellow page advertising can be a great tool for expanding or promoting your business. They can even be of great help to professionals such as doctors, engineers and builders. But do they really benefit the Lawyers. This is one common question that is usually asked by many professional lawyers as this advertising is not able to reap fruits in the present scenario as they used to benefit the lawyers in the past.

Yellow pages is one of the most old modes of advertising and many lawyers used to take help of this mode as it existed even before the Television revolution. The yellow pages sales persons also pursued these lawyers to use this medium of advertising. In the early 70’s and 80’s newspaper classified ads and yellow pages were the only popular mediums of advertising to reach the clients.

In the present scenario the number of lawyers has increased and most of them are diverted to the Television due to the ever increasing popularity of this neo-medium. This has reduced the importance of yellow pages because Television is live and can reach every home and even illiterate people can see it whereas Yellow Pages do not reach each and every home and can be viewed only by literate people. But yellow pages are far cheaper than any other medium of advertising and can become a suitable choice.
