Survival is the basic key to any type of business due to a large competition in the local as well as the international market. A majority of the businesses fail to survive because of the wrong decisions being taken that are contrary to customer loyalty and proper business sense.
Many business organizations give a basic priority to the marketing function thinking that it is of utmost importance in the growth of the organization as well to increase the customer base.
But instead of focusing on this particular aspect, one of the major roles of any organization or a business is to eliminate that stupid stuff that entails its customers to spend more and to make sure that a particular wrong thing never happens again.
One such example of this stupid stuff was that of an airlines company. This airlines company used to charge its customers even for talking to a live agent. You can say that this tactic used to penalize its customers just for talking and in fact this is a sure effort to lose at least one customer and hamper the growth of its business.
Any business cannot be successful if it charges for a service that it ought to provide for free. This not only breaks up its customer base but in such a world of tight competition hampers the business to a large extent.
