Social Networking Sites that Pay you to Participate?

Posted on January 02, 2010 by Kimberly Coghlan

I have written a blog about Mylot- a social networking site similar to myspace and facebook. Mylot pays you to participate. Of course, the pay isn’t much, but some of my friends really enjoy the social networking sites. I did create a Mylot account. However, I don’t necessarily have the time to peruse the many features of myLot. I think I’ve accumulated a dime, and that’s doing the bare minimum.

However, in the intrest of the poularity of social networking, I thought I’d let my readers know about another sinilar site. Yuwie is another social networking site, and it’s very similar to myspace. You form a profile- can design your own page, and add friends. This site also pays, and from people I’ve talked to, it pays more than MyLot. I think the reason this site pays so well is because it hosts a ton of advertising. Immediately after signing in to Yuwie, an ad will present itself- making you an offer. Luckily there is a “Skip” button, which removes the ad immediately. Though the ads are a little annoying, I suppose it is worth it to add a bit to your residual income. I just joined yuwie last week, and I’ve already had a lots of friend requests. I think that’s because other people are trying to make money. So unlike MyLot, Yuwie doesn’t seem to demand a lot of time or attention, which is great in my case. There is an option to upload pics, videos, and even to blog- all for cash. I’ll give it a couple of weeks and post a follow up blog- detailing earning potential for someone who is only slightly amused.

Until then, decide for yourself. Click the Yuwie link to sign up.
