Chitika can do targeted ads similar to Google Adsense, but in the Google Adsense contract you are compelled to use that with another ad company if they use targeted ads. But there’s a way of manually add the matter that’s supposed to show in the ads from Chitika. But that includes editing the index.php and then adds that search word in the JavaScript variable called ch_query. Its great that we can use the custom fields that’s already in the word-press. Adding a tag called ‘ad’ in the custom fields can do this, and then putting the search word we want. For example if we add a post related to photography, we could add an “ad” tag with a “Sony cyber shot” or similar and be certain that only relevant adds are shown. But can we employ Adsense and Chitika on the same page? Yes we surely can!! The Chitika ads do appear a lot different from google and are super targeted to the exact keywords that the use is emphasizing on. It is also flexibly integrated, as they don’t show any ad if they don’t have a super targeted ad.
