I was just wondering if anyone in here has any experience with placing ads in their forum system, because lately i have been working on a big website with my good friend, and I have made a forum system on the the website, I know that this will generate a lot of traffic. Whether putting adsense in forum is good for money making…Forum click through is very low because the intent of people visiting forums is to learn or talk. If your forum is very targeted to a product or service people are looking to buy and you have tons of traffic you might make it worth while. A suggestion would be to put up affiliate banners and get a larger payout that way. As an example you could have 1000-2000 people on your forum and get say 200 clicks and maybe come out with $20, whereas if you have an affiliate banner running you could chose the payout you wanted to display
depending on your forum and earn double that for 1 click.
