I failed to get approval from About.com

Once I received an article through mail from one of my friends which was published on about.com. While visiting the site I found there is an online earning opportunity for online writers whom they call guides. About.com has one of the best compensation for their bloggers; they pay a monthly stipend of $ 750.00 to their guides. About.com also pays when the articles written by guides get good responses and increased page views. They have got close to 750 guides with them and some of the guides are earning thousands of dollars every month.

They have tough criteria to enter into the elite guide team, first of all they ask for sample writing, detail bio and detail of relevant experience. I had also tried my fait there and sent a whole heartedly written content and properly structured bio and experience details. I had sent it almost 40 days back still I am waiting for their approval, every time on asking for the updated status they revert to me saying that a huge number of applications are still under considerations and I will be informed if at all they new applicants. So far I have failed to get their approval and one thing is sure they are the toughest to get approval.
