Attempt to blog and earn

Blogging is now the trend but I am still confused how will I ever earn from this kind of thing. I already have a blog of my own though the problem was I haven’t updated it well enough. I even posted some of my thoughts more on this site rather than to my blog. But now I am planning to make an update on my blog and try to search on how will I earn from that blogging thing. I just hope that I will not have a hard time on that one.
