Podcast Newbie
June 26, 2008
I have heard about Podcasts but haven’t really gotten around to listening to one. I frequent this one website that does podcasts to talk about so many topics but I didn’t try it at that time.
Now that I have looked up information about it, it seems promising. Imagine a teacher whose lesson has been on podcast. If a student was absent, the lesson can just be downloaded and the podcast can be listened to on an mp3 player or media player. There are a lot of ways to listen to it. I even heard that conference meetings are done on podcasts as well for the reference of those who were not able to attend the meeting or simply for reference.
Before it was used only for communicating but now that it has been explored, many possibilities came out and can be useful for a lot of people. As for me, I’ll listen to one first so that I can also think of ways to use it to the hilt.
PTC: A Waste of Time?
June 26, 2008
I have joined several PTC programs since January but now it’s already June and the month will soon end, I still haven’t got any payments from these sites.
Oh! I have some little (as to the word “little”) payment in one of the sites that I joined. The site does not have a minimum payout so I can cash out a small amount. After a month or so of clicking I just earned less than $1. Funny! But it is real. While some other sites that I joined became scam and some just don’t allow me to log in since they are limiting the users.
PTC sites just give you a $0.01 credit on every advertisement you view. Some are even smaller than that. While others have limit on the ads. Joining this kind of program will surely need more time to invest just to reach the payout. Or you can just purchase some referrals to make it easy to earn.
Now it’s all up to you if you think you are just wasting time or not? Goodluck! Happy earning!
pay per click
June 21, 2008
There are web sites who pays you per click on the advertisements. Most of the web sites are fraud but some really pay . The clicking job is not worth as compare to time consumption.
First you have to find a genuine site and get your self register there with email address. They send daily 10 to 20 ad through email. Open the email and click the link provided in an email for asked time (usually 20 to 30 seconds) to get paid.
You need to click at least 400 to 1000 links to earn $1 and most of them have pay out of $2 to $5. It takes about couple of months to reach a minimum pay out. If the site is a fraud then after spending so many time nothing achieved. If the site is genuine even then I think its not worth to spend time to earn only some pennies a week .
Attempt at Paid Blogging
June 19, 2008
When I heard from a good friend how much she has earned in a month just through blogging, I really got very interested. She’s a pro-blogger now and has been contacted by many advertisers for her to blog on some of their products. She’s even considering to make it her full-time job so that she can stay at home and take care of her son, my godchild.
She recommended a few sites which offer paid blogging. I have submitted my blog for approval but it has been rejected due to non-English content and low page rank. I didn’t think there were requirements for a blog to be chosen. As I couldn’t edit my blog entries to change it into all English posts, I just created a new one. My old blog has been on for more than four years now and it has been an online diary for me so I wouldn’t want to edit it just to pass the requirement.
Most of the paid blogging sites require that a blog be at least three months old as the minimum. In that case, I’ll have to wait until August to re-submit my blog. For now, there are other sites I can post on and earn at the same time. I am so glad for these opportunities as it makes staying at home and earning at the same time very possible.
Online Money
June 18, 2008
I never taught I’ll be doing stuffs such as applying in online virtual assistant down to clicking ads just to earn money. I have work to do and I earn a bit good with my job. But then, I was still encouraged to earn money while being online.
As I was looking back and trying to see where all it starts I can’t just say it was on the furom sites that I joined. I have gotten lots of invites how to earn online money but I was ignoring those things. I was thinking that those invites were spam mails. But when I read in one of the forums about it again I began to think twice. “Why not give it a try?”
I started to apply doing online jobs, like virtual assistant, data entry and others. I earned some but some does not pay me. So I switched. I think of earning on clicking the ads. I do that for a month but I got only a few cents. What a shame on my part!
Now I am doing this. Trying to give blogging a try. I never had any earning from this one so far. I just started this one today. I just hope it will really work! Wish me luck!
Earning Online
June 16, 2008
I spend way too much time on online. After I have done all my chores in the morning, I boot my laptop and check my email, read the news, and visit my favorite forums.
In one of the forums that I frequent, I learned about the opportunity to earn while online. I quickly visited the site and read as much information as I could. It was great news indeed. I am a working mom but I have the privilege of working from home. This works to my advantage because I have a toddler to take care of while he has no nanny yet. Since we don’t have much workload in our account, I have a lot of free time in my hands. I am taking this opportunity to get extra income and add it to our savings. This is great news indeed especially for those who are frequently online and would like to spend it doing productive things.
I’m continuously exploring this fascinating online world and of course, on the prowl for more money-making opportunities.
AdSense in feeds
June 6, 2008
Very soon Google AdSense ads will be wedged in feeds. The service is undergoing a trial run and a select group of Feedburner publishers are part of the Beta. Many saw the move coming after Google pouched Feedburner in an acquisition deal worth a $100 million. Although publishers have had the option of monetizing their feeds with advertisements using Feedburner for quite sometime now, the ads are not contextual. All website or blog owners are always keen on optimizing gains from their websites and so this should bode well for all of them.
