Multiloguing…

I read hundreds and hundreds of blogs, every day, and every once in a while, a conversation is started because of the way blogging software works. One of the nicest things about this technology is that you can choose to remain “unknown”, but the power of this technology lies in the conversational value, and viral nature. If you haven’t heard of Jennifer Rice, I suggest that you take a look. She’s a brand strategist who specializes in the impact of social technologies (like blogs) on brands. Here’s her latest post where she suggests a new term called “multiloguing”, which is described as “the purpose of blogs”.

I don’t know if I agree with “another” new term, but her point is well taken. No matter how money is made with blogs, the most important aspect will always be the communication value that blogs empower us with.
